A. ENERGY CONSERVATION
  • The state and the nation should require the greatest possible energy efficiency in all appliances, including vehicles.
  • The state should use tax incentives and energy taxes to encourage businesses and citizens to use energy more efficiently.
  • Governments at every level should promote public transportation, both within urban areas and between them.
